FOX has released new photos from next week’s episode of “Gotham” with one including a first look at Scarface and The Ventriloquist (Andrew Sellon) who turns out to be Penguin’s old associate Mr. Penn.

In the episode airing Thursday, Bullock’s past comes back to haunt him when he and Gordon investigate two murders at Sirens. Meanwhile, Bruce and Alfred explore the tunnels beneath the city, and Penguin and Nygma’s plans to escape are thwarted by the least likely of suspects. [Source: CBM]

The Bone Collector
Seth Gordon (“The Good Doctor,” “Horrible Bosses”) has been tapped to direct and executive produce NBC’s “Lincoln,” the drama pilot based on Jeffery Deaver’s book series that began with “The Bone Collector” and was previously adapted into the Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie-led 1999 movie.

The story follows legendary forensic criminologist Lincoln Rhyme, who was seriously injured during his hunt for the diabolic serial killer. Called back into action when the killer re-emerges, Lincoln forms a unique partnership with Amelia Sachs, a young beat cop who helps him take on the most high-profile cases in the NYPD. Firefly Lane
Netflix has ordered ten episodes of a series adaptation of Kristin Hannah’s novel “Firefly Lane”. Maggie Friedman (“No Tomorrow”) serves as showrunner and executive produces with Stephanie Germain.

The story centers on Kate and Tully, who meet as young girls and become inseparable best friends throughout thirty years of ups and downs. When an unthinkable betrayal breaks them apart, the two women go their separate ways and it’s unclear whether they will ever be able to reconcile. [Source: The Live Feed]

Locke and Key
Michael Morris (“Preacher,” “House of Cards,” “Better Call Saul”) has been set to direct the first two episodes of the horror/fantasy TV series adaptation of the comic “Locke and Key” for Netflix. Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Jackson Robert Scott, Sherri Saum, Griffin Gluck, and Darby Stanchfield co-star.

The story revolves around three siblings who, after the gruesome murder of their father, move to their ancestral home in Massachusetts only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities. Kin
Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine company and Starz are teaming to develop the multi-generational family drama “Kin” which hails from “Queen Sugar” and “Constantine” writer Davita Scarlett.

The story follows three generations of women who are thrust together when their dynamic and controversial matriarch moves back to town. The series aims to explore issues of racial identity, integrity, and the notion that blood is thicker than water. [Source: Variety]
