The Girlfriend Experience
Starz has announced a Sunday November 5th premiere date for the second season of “The Girlfriend Experience”. The new season will follow two parallel stories (one in Washington DC, one in New Mexico) focusing on new characters, relationships and plot lines. [Source: Starz]

FOX has moved up the premiere of the fourth season of “Gotham” by a week, premiering it now on Thursday September 21st at 8pm and will be followed immediately by the time period premiere of Seth MacFarlane’s space adventure series “The Orville” at 9pm. [Source: FOX]

Lifetime has renewed both “UnREAL” for a fourth season and “Mary Kills People” has nabbed the second season. The renewal for “UnREAL” is a surprise as it comes ahead of the show’s the third season premiere in early 2018. [Source: Variety]

Dreams Of Leaving
“Brooklyn” director John Crowley is set to direct “Dreams Of Leaving,” A six-to-eight episode series adaptation of Rupert Thomson’s novel. Nick Payne (“The Crown”) is adapting the script with Crowley expected to direct all the episodes.

Said to be a dark contemporary spin on the ‘Exodus’ story, the action follows a young man from the city, who returns to his childhood town in South England – a place of more ‘traditional’ values where major secrets are revealed. Production will kick off next year. [Source: Screen]
