Tv News Game Fargo Ratched Katy Her Light

Game of Thrones
The pilot for the untitled “Game of Thrones” prequel series will reportedly begin filming this summer with S.J. Clarkson at the helm of the highly anticipated series. The story is set to take place thousands of years before the events of the hit HBO fantasy series which wraps its eight-season run on May 19th. [Source: EW]

FX boss John Landgraf says Noah Hawley will kick off production on the fourth season of its anthology series “Fargo” this winter, while the network will keep making the series as long as creator Hawley is interested.

Chris Rock will play the head of a crime family in a story set in Kansas City in 1950 and dealing with duelling crime syndicates – one being Italians, the other being African Americans. [Source: TV Line]

Rosanna Arquette has been cast in Netflix’s “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” TV series prequel “Ratched”. Sarah Paulson stars in and produces the series about the genesis of the horrific nurse who makes life hell for everyone around her. Sharon Stone, Cynthia Nixon, Jon Jon Briones, Charlie Carver, Judy Davis, Harriet Harris, Hunter Parrish, Amanda Plummer, Corey Stoll, and Finn Wittrock co-star. [Source: EW]

Katy Keene
Ashleigh Murray (“Riverdale”) has scored a lead role in The CW’s musical dramedy spinoff pilot “Katy Keene” from executive producer Robert Aguirre-Sacasa who co-writes with Michael Grassi. Greg Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. TV are producing.

Set years after the events in “Riverdale,” a now twentysomething Josie McCoy (Murray) and fashion legend-to-be Katy Keene set off on a new adventure to make it in the big city. Pieces of Her
Netflix has ordered an eight-episode drama series based on Karin Slaughter’s novel “Pieces of Her.” Charlotte Stoudt (“Homeland”) will serve as writer, executive producer, and showrunner while Lesli Linka Glatter will also executive produce and direct the first two episodes.

When a Saturday afternoon trip to the mall with her mother suddenly explodes into violence, an adrift young woman’s conception of her mother is forever changed. As figures from her mother’s past start to resurface, she is forced to go on the run and on that journey, begins to piece together the truth of her mother’s previous identity and uncovers secrets of her childhood. Light as a Feather
Hulu has renewed its teen thriller series “Light as a Feather” for a sixteen-episode second season to be produced by Awesomeness. Creator R. Lee Fleming Jr. will return as showrunner, writer and executive producer while Liana Liberato, Haley Ramm and Brianne Tju will reprise their roles.

The story begins when an innocent game of ‘light as a feather, stiff as a board’ goes wrong when the five teen girls who played start dying off in exactly way that was predicted, forcing the survivors to figure out why they’re being targeted – and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own.
