The Spoils Before Dying
IFC has ordered the six-part miniseries “The Spoils Before Dying,” a follow-up to this year’s satirical mini-series “The Spoils of Babylon” from Funny or Die. Like the last one, this will be a faux book-to-series adaptation from Will Ferrell’s fictional author Jonrosh.

This one is a 1950s detective story following a jazz pianist turned private eye who becomes embroiled in a murder investigation that spins out of control and leads him down paths he never expected. No cast has yet been announced, but a summer 2015 premiere is planned. [Source: The Live Feed]

Australia’s longest-running soap drama “Neighbours,” one of the two major soaps that launched many a high profile Australian actor’s career, will make its U.S. debut this coming July 14th on Hulu and Hulu Plus.

New episodes will debut daily, Monday through Friday, airing four weeks after the Australian broadcast. The U.S. premiere week will include a guest appearance by actress and singer Paula Abdul. [Source: Deadline]
