TV News: Futurama, Smallville, Justified

Futurama
Comedy Central has unveiled the first image from the show’s long-awaited full-season return. The new season kicks off with a double episode premiere on Thursday, June 24th at 10pm.

Smallville
Two photos from the season finale next Friday have emerged which include a Lois/Clark kiss and a Clark/Zod fight.

Allison Mack is in contract talks this week to reprise the role of Chloe next season reports EW. Though not locked yet, it seems quite certain she’ll return.

Both Annette O’Toole and Michael McKean guest star this week, reprising their roles of Martha Kent and Perry White respectively. This week we’ll also apparently learn the identity of the Red Queen – don’t expect much in the way of a surprise folks.

Finally the finale will include a little tidbit that fans will get pertaining to next season – hints of Darkseid and Apokolips perhaps?

Taxi 22
Variety reports that James Gandolfini will serve as an executive producer and could potentially star in HBO’s remake of the French Canadian series “Taxi 22”.

If starring, Gandolfini would play a politically incorrect cab driver in New York City.

Justified
Walton Goggins’ Boyd Crowder character will be upgraded to a series regular next season.
