Furst Born
Quickly rising hunk Patrick Brammall (“Ruben Guthrie,” “The Moodys”) is set to reprise his leading role from the Australian sitcom “Upper Middle Bogan” in CBS’ single-camera pilot U.S. remake of the show currently titled “Furst Born”. Poppy Montgomery also stars.

‘Bogan’ creators Robyn Butler and Wayne Hope are teaming with Dan O’Shannon (“Modern Family”) on the series in which the wife (Montgomery) in a successful family is shock to learn she’s adopted. Brammell plays the husband, Swoosie Kurtz plays her mother while Katey Sagal and John Carroll Lynch have co-starring roles. [Source: ]

Scream
MTV has announced a May 31st premiere date for the second season of its “Scream” TV series. Six new actors, two of which will be regulars, have joined the cast of the new season which is currently in production in New Orleans. The series is undergoing a bit of a creative reboot for the new season which will be set several months on after the events fo the first. [Source: The Live Feed]

The Powerpuff Girls
Cartoon Network has announced that the upcoming revival of “The Powerpuff Girls” animated series is set to premiere with back-to-back episodes on April 4th at 6pm. That will be followed by daily weekday episodes through to the 15th, followed by the show settling into its regular timeslot on April 21st. [Source: Cartoon Network]

The Flash
A synopsis for the seventeenth episode of the season, airing March 29th, confirms that Rick Cosnett is set to reprise his role of Eddie Thawne for a guest starring spot. In the episode, Barry Allen travels back in time to try and find a way to run faster and take on Zoom. He ends up once again taking on Hartley Rathaway (Andy Mientus) and coming face-to-face with Eddie. [Source: ]

Royal Pains
USA Network has announced a May 18th premiere for the eighth and final season of its long-running series “Royal Pains”. The Hamptons-set series will celebrate its 100th episode midway through the season and boast both a musical episode and a sojourn to Hong Kong. [Source: ]
