The Most Fun We Ever Had
HBO is developing a series adaptation of Claire Lombardo’s multigenerational saga novel “The Most Fun We Ever Had” with Amy Adams and Laura Dern set to executive produce. Lombardo will pen the adaptation in addition to co-executive producing.
Spanning half a century, the story follows four sisters, each struggling to exist in the shadow of their parents’ idyllic marriage. Their lives are complicated by the unexpected return of the son one of them gave up for adoption fifteen years earlier. [Source: Variety]
The CW has picked up the fantasy-adventure series “The Outpost” for a third season, the order coming just two weeks after the second season aired its finale. Jessica Green, Imogen Waterhouse, Jake Stormoen and Anand Deasi-Barochia co-star. The next season will premiere in Summer 2020. [Source: TV Line]
Arsenio Hall: Smart & Classy
Netflix has unveiled the trailer for their newest comedy special “Arsenio Hall: Smart & Classy” which stars the famous comedy legend in his first stand-up special that is set to stream on October 29th.
In the special, Hall reflects on stand-up in today’s political climate, “Coming to America,” winning “Celebrity Apprentice,” his favorite drug, and more. Hall is currently filming “Coming 2 America” which is set to be released on December 18th 2020.
Netflix has premiered a new poster for the third season of its awarded historical drama “The Crown” with new season released on November 17th. The entire cast is replaced and aged up as events shift to a period between 1964 and 1972.
The poster shows Olivia Colman taking over the role of Elizabeth II alongside Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip and Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles. Also onboard are Erin Doherty as Princess Anne, Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and Emerald Fennell as Camilla Parker Bowles.
