My Brilliant Friend
HBO has released the first official images from “My Brilliant Friend,” the upcoming eight-episode series adaptation based on the bestselling book by Elena Ferrante. Saverio Costanzo (“Private, “Hungry Hearts”) helms the project with Elisa Del Genio and Ludovica Nasti playing the lead role.

The story follows a woman who, when the most important friend in her life seems to have disappeared without a trace, she begins writing the story of their friendship which runs across six decades after meeting in a Naples school in 1950. Filming is now underway in Caserta, Italy. [Source: Vulture]

Ahead of its fifth season premiere on July 1st, Starz announced today the early renewal of their hit original series “Power” for an additional sixth season with Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson scheduled to direct the season six premiere episode. The critically-acclaimed fourth season averaged 9.3 million multiplatform viewers per episode and is the most-watched franchise for Staz. [Source: Starz]

Ross Lynch (“My Friend Dahmer,” “Austin & Ally”) will play Harvey Kinkle, the human boyfriend of Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka), in the upcoming Netflix series based on the Archie Comics title “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Jaz Sinclair, Richard Coyle, and Bronson Pinchot also star.

Harvey Kinkle is the son of a coal miner, a dreamboat and a dreamer, completely unaware of the dark forces conspiring to keep him and Sabrina apart. He takes on the role Nate Richert previously played in the more comedic toned “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” series. [Source: Variety]

The trailer has been released for an upcoming mobile game based on the HBO series “Westworld’ and comparisons have been made to “Fallout Shelter” in terms of the way it plays. The game hasn’t set a release date as yet.
