The CW has released a first-look poster for an upcoming episode of “The Flash” with Candice Patton’s Iris West suiting up for some speedster action in the episode titled “Run, Iris, Run”. Jake Michaels (“Designated Survivor”) has scored the key role of The Doom Patrol member Cliff Steele, a.k.a. Robotman, who is introduced in the fifth episode of the upcoming “Titans” TV series.

The character is a race car driver whose brain was transplanted to a powerful robotic body following an accident. The series will launch on DC’s direct-to-streaming service. [Source:]

Richard Coyle (“The Fall,” “Crossbones”) has been cast in the key role of Father Blackwood in Netflix’s upcoming “Sabrina” series based on the Archie Comics title. The dark coming-of-age story follows Kiernan Shipka as the titular young witch who is being raised by two aunts (Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis).

Coyle’s Father Blackwood, is High Priest of the Church of Night and Dean of the Academy of the Unseen Arts. Ruthless and ambitious, he hides a terrifying dark agenda that will put him in direct conflict with Sabrina and other members of the coven. [Source: Deadline]

HBO has given a third season renewal to two of its comedy series – the Ben Sinclair-led pot-themed “High Maintenance” and the Pete Holmes-led stand-up comedy world exploration series “Crashing”. [Source: TV Line]

CMT has set a June 7th midseason return date for the sixth and final season of “Nashville”. The network also said today that two new recurring characters, played by Ronny Cox and Mia Maestro, will debut during the remaining eight episodes.
