The Expanse
Syfy has released another trailer for the second season of “The Expanse”. With Earth and Mars pushed to the brink by someone testing a dangerous bioweapon, the Asteroid Belt stands to suffer the most. Thomas Jane, Steven Strait and the rest of the cast from the first season return for the new episodes which kick off on February 8th.

The CW’s costume drama “Reign” is coming to an end with the network announcing that the upcoming fourth season will be the show’s last. The show’s producers have been informed with the news coming through just as the series begins filming the finale.

The writers reportedly had already been crafting this as a possible final chapter and now are prepared to shoot a series closer that will finish off the story of Mary Queen of Scots. The sixteen-episode final fourth season premieres on February 10th with the finale to air in June. [Source: Deadline]

Syfy has handed out a straight-to-series pickup for Mario Van Peebles’ thirteen episode drama series “Superstition”. Slated to begin production in early 2017 ahead of a premiere later in the year, the story centers around the owners of the only funeral home in a small town on the outskirts of New Orleans.

They are also keepers of the town’s dark secrets and history, a place known for its haunted houses, elevated graveyards, odd townsfolk and rich history of unusual phenomena tying back to an ancient, mysterious malefactor named The Dredge. Joel Anderson Thompson (“Battlestar Galactica”) is set as showrunner. [Source: The Live Feed]
