Amazon’s new dark comedy “Mad Dogs,” a remake of the British series of the same name, is set to launch Friday, January 22nd on Prime Video in the U.S., U.K., Germany and Austria. All ten episodes will be released at once.
The sotry follows the reunion of a group of longtime, forty-something friends at crossroads in their lives who go on a vacation. Canadian sci-fi series “Bitten” will come to an end on Syfy and on Space in Canada. Space has opted to wrap up the drama with its third and final season, and Syfy will not pick up the drama for a fourth. Syfy will use the conclusion of its upcoming miniseries “Childhood’s End” to preview its upcoming drama series “The Magicians”. The premiere episode for the series will screen commercial free next Wednesday (Dec 16th) from 10pm on the network.
That means this adaptation of Lev Grossman’s best-selling fantasy book series will preview more than a month before its planned January 25th premiere. It’s a big week for Syfy who will premiere the first two episodes of ambitious sci-fi series “The Expanse” following its pilot also going a month early. [Source: The Live Feed]

Following the huge ratings for its ‘Return of the Roar’ TV movie launch, “The Lion Guard” series will premiere Friday, January 15th on the Disney Channel. The TV movie averaged 5.358 million viewers in its late November premiere, the No. 1 primetime cable telecast of 2015 among kids 2-5. [Source: Variety]
