TV News: Delirium, Zombieland, FarmVille

Emma Roberts has signed on to star in the TV pilot based on Lauren Oliver’s 2011 sci-fi romance novel “Delirium”. The project was originally planned as a feature, and has been retooled as a small screen series.

The story is set in a near future where scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. [Source: Deadline]

Tyler Ross (“Milkshake”) and newcomer Izabela Vidovic have been cast as two of the four leads in the Amazon Studios’ comedy pilot based on the hit 2009 film “Zombieland”.

Sony TV is producing the series which follows four humans who band together to survive the zombie apocalypse. Ross and Vidovic will take over the Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin roles respectively. [Source: Deadline]
