Tv News Daredevil Ranger Trinkets Bodyguard

One of the big draws of the third season of “Marvel’s Daredevil” returning this week is not only a back-to-basics approach for the series, but the return of Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk (aka. Kingpin) who remains one of the best villains any Marvel project has ever produced.

Now a new featurette for the run of episodes is out with D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox discussing the return of the Kingpin, now clad in his comic-book-accurate white suit, shadowing Matt as he goes about his vigilante business. “Daredevil” returns to screens from October 19th.

CBS has begun development of the cop drama “Ranger” inspired by James Patterson’s best-selling novel “Texas Ranger” with scribe Jason Hall (“American Sniper”) and “The 100” co-executive producers TJ Brady and Rasheed Newson onboard to executive produce.

The story centers on a Texas Ranger and his cantankerous father move to South Florida where the Ranger becomes a homicide detective and searches for his brother’s killer. [Source: Deadline]

Brianna Hildebrand (“Deadpool,” “Tragedy Girls”) will star in the new Netflix series “Trinkets” based on the young adult novel by Kirsten ‘Kiwi’ Smith. Hildebrand plays Elodie, a young misfit who makes an unlikely group of friends when she’s forced to attend a Shoplifter’s Anonymous meeting.

The series will run for ten thirty-minute episodes and also stars Kiana Madeira, Quintessa Swindell, Odiseas Georgiadis, Henry Zaga, Brandon Butler, Larry Sullivan, October Moore and Larisa Oleynik. Linda Gase (“Still Star-Crossed”) is set as showrunner and will executive produce. [Source: Collider]
