Game Of Thrones
HBO has announced plans to release a 30-minute “Game of Thrones” special which will premiere on Sunday, February 8th, at 7:30 p.m. US-ET. Titled “A Day in the Life,” it’s expected the special will be much like those of year’s past – going back over the events of the previous year and looking forward at what’s to come.
Whilst there’s been a few scant seconds of footage from the fifth season released so far, the release of the first real trailer for the new season is imminent. HBO has scheduled three season premieres for the night of Sunday January 11th, it’s almost certain to air then and go online right after. [Source: io9]
The Walking Dead
AMC’s mega-rating zombie drama “The Walking Dead” returns with eight new episodes in February, and ahead of that return a new midseason premiere trailer with new footage has gone online, albeit in pretty awful quality. “The Walking Dead” returns Sunday, February 8th.
BBC Two have unveiled the first trailer for “Wolf Hall,” the upcoming six-part mini-series about the rise of Thomas Cromwell (Mark Rylance) and how he became closest advisor to Henry VIII.
“Homeland” star Damian Lewis takes on the role of the British ruler in the show which is based on Hilary Mantel’s Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name along with its sequel “Bring Up The Bodies”.
