American Horror Story: Coven
‘Coven,’ the third season of FX’s anthology series “American Horror Story,” wrapped up last night with a finale best score of a 2.2 rating and 4.24 million viewers in overnight figures for its 10pm broadcast.

With DVR taken into account, the series has been averaging 7.2 million total viewers and 5.1 million adults 18-49 per episode. That makes it cable’s third best performing scripted drama this season behind only AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and the final season of “Breaking Bad”. [Source: E! Online]

Cinemax has renewed Alan Ball’s “Banshee” for a third season to debut in early 2015. Currently airing its second season, the crime drama series averaged just shy of 500,000 viewers for its recent season premiere, a series high for a first-run episode. [Source: TV By the Numbers]
