Mary McDonnell (“Battlestar Galactica”) will return for no less than five episodes for the show’s upcoming sixth season says Entertainment Weekly.
McDonnell will reprise her role as Captain Sharon Raydor which she played in three episodes last season, and will become a wedge between Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick) and Pope (J.K. Simmons).
The sixth season kicks off on TNT in July.
AMC have officially ordered a six-episode first season of the zombie drama says The Hollywood Reporter with Jonny Lee Miller (“Mindhunters,” “Eli Stone”) in talks to play the lead says Bloody Disgusting.
Based on Robert Kirkman’s comic, Miller would play Rick Grimes, a police officer who leads a group of zombie survivors in search of a safe place to live during the apocalypse.
Shooting begins this June in Atlanta for a premiere in October.
Shooting kicked off last week in Ireland on the resurrected ITV series “Primeval” reports IFTN via Digital Spy.
The production run will continue through to November on thirteen episodes that will make up a seven-episode fourth and six-episode fifth season to air next year.
Set several months after the series three cliffhanger, the story picks up with Connor (Andrew-Lee Potts) and Abby (Hannah Spearritt) stuck in the distant past. Ben Miller, Ben Mansfield and other cast members will return while Ciaran McMenamin and Ruth Kearney will join as new characters.
The Radio Times has unleashed a photo gallery of something many fans have been keen to see – the brand new three-level TARDIS interior set. As it’s a photo shoot, the colors look to have been over-saturated compared with the actual look of the set on finished film so take that into account when viewing the gallery.
