Spike TV is developing a suspense thriller TV series adaptation of the Stephen Frey novel “The Chairman” as a potential starring vehicle for executive producer Julian McMahon (“Nip/Tuck,” “Fantastic Four”).

Dana Vachon (“Mergers & Acquisitions”) will adapt the book which follows a charismatic Gulf War veteran who takes over a billion-dollar private equity fund after its founder’s mysterious death.
