TV News: Camelot, Justified, Tron, True

Starz’ original series “Camelot” will premiere Friday, April 1st at 10 PM ET/PT on the network.

The ten episode epic kicks off just after the death of Uther Pendragon and the sorcerer Merlin (Joseph Fiennes) installs the young and reckless Arthur (Jamie Campbell Bower), who has been raised from birth as a commoner, to the throne.

His half-sister Morgan (Eva Green) however will fight him to the bitter end for it with the help of unnatural forces. Also starring are Tamsin Egerton as Guinevere, Claire Forlani as Igraine and Peter Mooney as Kay.

The premiere comes very close to HBO’s fantasy epic “Game of Thrones” which also debuts in April, and around the end of the U.S. airing of the third season of the BBC’s “Merlin” which returns next month to BBC America.

FX has announced that season two of its critically acclaimed drama series “Justified” will return February 9th at 10 PM ET/PT and will run for thirteen weeks.

Margo Martindale, Jeremy Davies, Joseph Lyle Taylor and Brad William Henke will all join the cast in recurring roles this season as members of the Bennett Family, the biggest pot farmers in Eastern Kentucky.

Tron: Uprising
“Tron: Legacy” scribes Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis tell Box-Office Magazine that the upcoming animated series “Tron: Uprising” will be set during the years before Sam shows up on the grid.

“This animated show will take place from when Flynn is in a safe house. It’s from when Clu takes over the grid to before when Sam comes in. So if you were wondering what was the grid like before that, then watch the show” says Kitsis.

In terms of casting, the likes of Bruce Boxleitner, Elijah Wood, Linda Moore, Paul Reubens and Lance Henriksen are all onboard to voice roles.
