Heroes Reborn
NBC’s event series “Heroes Reborn” got off to a slow start with the premiere scoring a 1.9 and 6 million viewers. That’s definitely up on the timeslot from last year and slightly up from the 2.0/4.4 million viewership of the series finale a few years ago. [Source: Deadline]

TNT has given a pilot order to a TV series adaptation of Christopher Cook’s 2000 debut novel “Robbers”. “Justified” producers Michael Dinner and Sarah Timberman will executive produce.

The story follows a crime spree across Texas involving two ‘running buddies’, a girl who complicates matters and a cop who is after all of them. Cook is writing the project with Dinner, with the latter also signed on to direct. [Source: Variety]

The Grinder
Timothy Olyphant will make his first post-“Justified” television appearance in the Fox comedy “The Grinder” starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage.

Olyphant play fellow actor and “frenemy” to Lowe’s character, Dean Sanderson, in the Thanksgiving episode, ‘Giving Thanks, Getting Justice.’ [Source: The Live Feed]

“Looking” star Raul Castillo has been cast as DC Comics villain Eduardo Flamingo in FOX’s “Gotham”.

Castillo will make his debut in episode nine of season two. The character is one of the city’s most dangerous hitmen who, armed with a spiked chain, sees his deeds as a work of art. [Source: Variety]
