Broad City
FX and Amy Poehler are teaming to develop a TV series adaptation of cult Web comedy series “Broad City” which Upright Citizens Brigade alumnae Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer star in.

Dancing On The Edge
Chiwetel Ejiofor and Matthew Goode are set to star in Stephen Poliakoff’s BBC2 five-part drama “Dancing On The Edge” which has begun shooting in London and Birmingham.

The 1930’s set story will follow a black jazz band in London. Jacqueline Bisset, Tom Hughes, Anthony Head and Caroline Quentin also appear. [Source: The BBC]

The New Nabors
NBC and ‘Muppets’ creators The Jim Henson Company are developing the TV series “The New Nabors”. The story will reportedly revolve around a regular human family who lives next to a family of puppets.

John Hoffman (Afterlife) and John Riggi (30 Rock) are penning the script while Jim Henson’s daughter Lisa Henson will be an executive producer. [Source: Daemon’s TV]

Desperate Housewives
Dana Delany, Kyle MacLachlan and Andrea Bowen are all returning to Wisteria Lane for ABC’s final season of “Desperate Housewives”.

It is not known when, or in what capacity, this trio of actors will return for the eighth season. The series will finish up in May. [Source: TV Line]
