TV News: Bones, Unsupervised, Renewals

Fox has ordered four more episodes for the upcoming seventh season of “Bones”. Due to series star Emily Deschanel’s pregnancy, this season was shortened from 22 episodes to 13.

The new episodes will bring that total back to 17. Show runner Stephen Nathan has already constructed the season so that the finale is Episode 13, meaning the additional episodes will take place afterwards and will likely all be standalones. [Source: TV Line]

FX has placed a 13-episode order for the new animated comedy series “Unsupervised” which is scheduled to premiere in January and will be paired with acclaimed returning spy comedy “Archer”.

The story follows two optimistic best friends navigating the harsh landscape of teenage life and trying to do what’s right without any parental guidance whatsoever. Justin Long, Kristen Bell, Romany Malco, Fred Armisen, Kaitlin Olson and Alexa Vega make up the voice cast. [Source: AOL TV]
