True Blood
HBO has debuted the first episodes from the seventh and final season of “True Blood” over the weekend, see the photos here. It has also been revealed that actor Will Yun Lee (“The Wolverine,” “Total Recall”) will play a major recurring role as a Japanese businessman with an urban cowboy look who is out for revenge. Spike TV is set to return to scripted programming, with the first greenlit project being a six-hour miniseries “Tut” based on the life of Tutankhamun, the youngest Pharaoh to rule ancient Egypt.

Muse Entertainment (“The Kennedys,” “Pillars of the Earth”)is producing the series based on recently discovered historical evidence and will deal with the “turmoil, power struggles, political backstabbing, war and murder” that existed during his reign. [Source: The Live Feed]

The LEGO-themed episode of “The Simpsons” saw a jump in viewership with 4.3 million viewers and a 1.9 rating tuning in, up 19% from last week’s episode which was a new series low. [Source: EW]

Starz has unveiled the official trailer for its new crime drama “Power” about a night club owner and notorious drug runner named James ‘Ghost’ St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick). 50 Cent executive produces the series and plays a role in the show which kicks off June 7th.
