Hot in Cleveland
TV Land has just announced a fifth-season renewal for its sitcom “Hot In Cleveland” with a super-sized 24-episode order. This brings the series to a total of 104 episodes, crossing the coveted-for-syndication 100-episode mark.

While it has been declining in the ratings, the show remains the cable channel’s top series and averages 2.8 million total viewers (Live+7) along with spawning a spinoff. [Source: Deadline]

Manu Bennett (“Spartacus”) has been promoted to a series regular for the recently announced second season of The CW’s superhero series. Bennett plays Slade Wilson — who in the comics ultimately becomes Arrow’s villain Deathstroke.

The show has featured multiple Deathstrokes during its freshman run, but the Slade character so far has remained an ally to Stephen Amell’s Oliver. [Source: The Live Feed]
