The CW have unveiled several new photos from the upcoming second season of “Arrow”, including a first look at Summer Glau in her recurring role of DC Comics character Isabel Rochev. Check them out at IGN.

Murder in the First
TNT has ordered ten episodes of “Murder in the First” from “NYPD Blue” co-creator Steven Bochco. Set in San Francisco, the series follows homicide detectives (Taye Diggs, Kathleen Robertson) and will deal with one major case a season.

The first season, to premiere next summer, deals with the murder of an apparent drug addict with ties to a Silicon Valley mogul. [Source: Variety]

Hip Hop Drama
“The Butler” writer Danny Strong and director Lee Daniels are reuniting for a hip hop drama project at Fox which has given the series a put pilot commitment.

The story is a unique family drama set in the world of a hip hop empire. Strong, Daniels, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo are executive producing. [Source: Deadline]
