House of Cards
Ahead of the upcoming second season of Netflix’s “House of Cards,” the streaming service is now offering all of season one’s thirteen episodes with optional director audio commentaries on every episode including the likes of David Fincher, James Foley, Joel Schumacher, Allen Coulter, Carl Franklin and Charles McDougall.

Netflix subscribers can turn on the commentary through the subtitle/alternate audio menu options. All thirteen episodes of season two will be available from February 14th. [Source: Netflix]

Last night saw the return and premiere of the first shows of 2014. “Community” launched its fifth season with a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 for the first episode, and a 1.2 rating for the second – making it the top rater of NBC’s comedy block last night.

ABC’s new drama “The Assets” premiered at 10pm to a dismal 0.7 rating with adults 18-49, which would make it the lowest-rated drama premiere ever on the big four networks. [Source: The Live Feed]

The Following
An extended 2.5-minute promo for the second season of “The Following” has gone online and shows a mix of scenes from the new episodes along with interviews with the cast. The series is slated to return with a special preview on Sunday January 19th followed by is regular Monday night start on January 27th.

Set one year later, Ryan Hardy (Bacon) and Mike Weston (Shawn Ashmore) are called in following a murder spree to speak with the lone survivor Lily (Connie Nielsen). Ryan also finds a valuable ally in his NYPD cop niece Max (Jessica Stroup).
