24: Live Another Day
Fox’s event series reprisal of “24” got off to a decent start last night with 8.1 million viewers and a 2.6 rating in overnights.

Compare that with the final season in 2010 which had an average of a 2.8 rating and 9.1 million viewers. TV ratings as a whole though have taken a significant slide since 2010 due to DVR & VOD usage, and those numbers have yet to come in. [Source: The Live Feed]

Game of Thrones
HBO’s epic fantasy drama keeps breaking ratings records, Sunday’s episode drawing 7.2 million viewers at 9PM and 8.6 million viewers for the night. This season so far the show is averaging 17.8 million viewers per episode, up from 14.4 million last season. [Source: Deadline]

The Walking Dead
Turns out AMC’s hit zombie drama is also a smash overseas. European viewers have flocked to the show’s fourth season which is drawing record audiences across Fox International Channels (FIC) in the region.

Nearly 25 million viewers across 14 markets caught season four of “The Walking Dead,” the show hitting ratings highs for a pay-TV series in several territories. Part of the success? Airing the episodes within hours of the U.S. broadcast rather than extended weeks or months of delays that many U.S. series airing in Europe experience. [Source: THR]

Following a 19-month break, Louis C.K.’s much acclaimed series “Louie” returned to FX on Monday night. In overnight ratings, the 10pm broadcast averaged 941,000 viewers, down on the 1.43 million viewers who tuned in for the third season premiere. Yet it bested the show’s 791,000 per episode season average.

The figure is also expected to see significant rises when DVR usage, VOD subscriptions and the channel’s FXNOW streaming platform are taken into account which will be at a later date. [Source: The Live Feed]
