Downton Abbey
With the fifth season of ITV’s venerated period drama “Downton Abbey” kicking off this Fall in the UK, the show’s executive producer Gareth Neame tells Deadline there are “no plans to end the show at all.” The comment is a change from previous years where comments by some involved in the production indicated that the show’s end may be in sight.

Whilst critics haven’t been as enamoured with the most recent fourth season as they were with previous years, ‘Downton’ still managed to reap twelve Emmy nominations this year and is still a ratings powerhouse in both the U.K. and United States. New photos from the upcoming fifth season are also up at EW.

The 50th episode of The CW’s “Arrow” began filming this week and boasts the episode title “The Magician”. This quickly led to speculation online that the character of Zatanna would appear, a claim that has since been denied, producer Marc Guggenheim saying the title ties back to Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman). Though the new episodes won’t be released until the end of the year at the earliest, Yahoo has posted the first trailer for the upcoming sixth season of previously cancelled sitcom “Community”. The giant web portal saved the NBC comedy for another season and has now created a clip using footage from previous seasons.

Composer Bear McCreary is best known for his celebrated work on Syfy’s “Battlestar Galactica” as well as the theme for AMC’s “The Walking Dead”. Now he’s composing the theme for NBC’s Hellblazer comic adaptation “Constantine”.
