Bates Motel
Nicola Peltz (“The Last Airbender,” “Deck the Halls”) is near a deal to join A&E’s drama series “Bates Motel” about the formative years of Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) and how his relationship with his mother forged him into a serial killer.

Magic City
James Caan, Esai Morales and Jamie Harris have all scored recurring roles in the upcoming second season of Starz’ “Magic City”. Caan will play a Chicago mob kingpin and the boss to Danny Huston’s character.

Morales will play a former Castro loyalist who now works to free Cuba. Harris plays a cocaine-snorting mob guy with a quick and volatile temper. [Source: The Live Feed

The White Queen
Tom McKay (“Hatfields & McCoys”) has joined the cast of Starz and BBC1’s ten-episode drama series “The White Queen”. The story follows a group of women and their power struggle during the War of the Roses in 1464.

McKay will play Jasper Tudor, who schemes with Margaret Beaufort (Amanda Hale) to make her son Henry the future king. [Source: Variety]

F. Murray Abraham (“Amadeus,” “Scarface”) will join Showtime’s “Homeland” for a recurring role in the later half of the upcoming second season.
