Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan have reunited for a photo which seemingly teases a fourth “Rush Hour” movie.
Tucker posted the shot showing his reunion with his former co-star and using their fingers to holding up the number four, creating a debate as to if the talked about next entry in the franchise is happening.
Chan spoke about a possible fourth installment last year, saying after years of turning down scripts they finally found one they all clicked to and agreed upon and so filming could begin sometime in 2019.
The first three films, which ran from 1998-2007, grossed $850.6 million at the worldwide box office. Disgraced filmmaker Brett Ratner helmed all three previous films and so a new helmer will have to be hired for the next one.
Update: Chan’s management company JC Group has shot down the rumors in a statement posted on the actor’s official website.
