Joseph Kosinski (“Tron Legacy,” “Oblivion”) is attached to direct a film adaptation of Evan Hughes’ novel “The Trials of White Boy Rick” for Universal Pictures.
Set in Detroit in the 1980s, the true story tale follows a teenager who was arrested on suspicion of being a drug kingpin who rose through the ranks of New York City. He later claimed to have actually been undercover for the FBI since he was 14.
Scott Stuber and Dylan Clark will produce.
