WWE Studios and Lionsgate’s urban label Codeblack Films have set a deal to co-produce and co-finance a slate of films, the first being the action thriller “Brother’s Blood” which Trey Songz will star in.
Set on the mean streets of a city in decay, a recently released convict takes murderous revenge against his childhood friends whom he believes let him take the fall for a crime they collectively committed.
As the bodies start piling up, one of the friends (Songz), now a cop, will stop at nothing to put an end to right the wrongs of their violent past.
John Pogue directs a script co-written by Karl Gajdusek (“Oblivion”), Michael Finch (“Hitman: Agent 47”) and Charles Murray (“Sons Of Anarchy”). Michael Luisi is producing and shooting is slated to begin in January in New Orleans.
