Several major streaming series scored renewal notices today starting with the Duplass brothers anthology comedy series “Room 104” which will score a second season on HBO.
Premiering last month, the first season is set in a single room of a typical American chain motel that tells a different story of the assorted characters who pass through it in each episode.
Next up, Amazon Studios has announced it has greenlit a fifth season of Jill Soloway’s Golden Globe Award and multi-Emmy Award winning series “Transparent” which begins filming next year.
The new episodes will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2018 exclusively for Prime Members.
Finally, Netflix has ordered a third season of its critically-praised docuseries “Last Chance U” to premiere later this year. In the new season, the series will move from the south to Kansas to explore the junior college football program at Independence Community College.
