2016’s international action-horror hit “Train to Busan” is set to be adapted as virtual reality property – both a VR video game and a work of “location-based entertainment”.
Next Entertainment World’s ‘Contents Panda’ division has reportedly signed a contract with Singapore’s Vividthree Productions to adapt the zombie thriller. Vividthree will launch a static show in Singapore and Malaysia, and may then expand it globally.
The project is separate from the English-language remake in the works at Gaumont. The film’s director, Yeon Sang-ho, most recently directed the superhero satire feature “Psychokinesis” which opened in January in South Korea and hits Netflix around much of the rest of the world on April 25th.
