Trailers: Submergence, When We First Met

If you love love, then you’ll love the two new trailers today which follow a central romance drama and then add some elements of genre to it.

The first is “Submergence” which screened on the Fall cinema circuit late last year. James McAvoy, Alicia Vikander and Alexander Siddig co-star in the film about the love affair between Danielle Flinders (Vikander) and James More (McAvoy).

He is a spy on a mission in Somalia, she is a bio-mathematician working on a deep sea diving project. Wim Wenders helms the film which hits UK cinemas mid-May and hasn’t been set elsewhere yet:

Also today, Netflix has released the trailer for the romantic comedy film “When We First Met” which hits the service exclusively on February 9th.

Adam Devine plays a man who is relegated to the friend zone. He spends the next three years wondering what went wrong, and gets the unexpected chance to travel back in time and alter that night many times. Shelley Hennig, Andrew Bachelor and Robbie Amell co-star.
