Trailers: “Amy,” “Cooties,” “Batkid”

A couple of key trailer releases today starting with the preview of the new Amy Winehouse documentary “Amy” which opens in cinemas on July 3rd. From the makers of the acclaimed “Senna” documentary, the film looks at the life of the late acclaimed British musician.

Next up, the first trailer is out for the horror-comedy “Cooties” in which a group of teachers, played by actors like Elijah Wood and Rainn Wilson, find themselves taking on a group of contagious undead children. “Saw” scribe Leigh Whannell co-wrote the film which will be released in cinemas and on demand on September 18th.

Finally, the first trailer has been released for “Batkid Begins,” the upcoming documentary based on the famous event in November 2013 when the world joined in a Make-A-Wish Foundation event in which San Francisco was transformed into Gotham City so that a five-year-old ill child named Miles could be Batman. Dana Nachman helmed the doco which is slated to premiere on June 26th.
