Owen Wilson and Ed Helms team up for the raunchy studio comedy “Father Figures,” a project that marks the directorial debut of “The Hangover” cinematographer Lawrence Sher.
The story follows brothers Kyle and Peter Reynolds who attempt to sift through the trail of their eccentric mother’s ex-lovers from her Studio 54 days to determine who their real biological father is.
Glenn Close plays the mother, while J.K. Simmons, Harry Shearer and Terry Bradshaw play potential dad candidates. Ving Rhames, Katt Williams, June Squibb, Retta and Katie Aselton also star.
Justin Malen pens the film which Ivan Reitman, Ali Bell, Broderick Johnson and Andrew A. Kosove will produce. The film opens on December 22nd.
