Former “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe continues to make interesting and eclectic choices with his post-Potter career. Coming off the outright weirdness of “Swiss Army Man” in which he played a farting corpse with a boner that acts like a compass, he’s set to tackle a much more serious undercover drama.
“Imperium” has Radcliffe playing Nate Foster, an FBI agent tasked with infiltrating the neo-Nazi movement. Toni Collette, Sam Trammell, Burn Gorman, Nestor Carbonell, and Tracy Letts also star in the film which is being written and directed by Daniel Ragussis. With far-right groups nearly winning elections in Europe, the old white supremacist stereotype is out of date and Ragussis says it’s the right time to explore this issue. “Imperium” hits cinemas and VOD on August 19th.
