Trailer: Pattinson, Wasikowska In “Damsel”

The trailer has arrived for “Damsel,” the second teaming of young art house darlings Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson following “Map to the Stars” sees them in a western with more of a female focus.

Brothers David and Nathan Zellner (“Kumiko the Treasure Hunter”) helm the part dark comedy about a wealthy and influential pioneer travelling across west American Frontiers to marry the love of his life. Along the journey, he’s aided by a drunkard and a miniature horse named Butterscotch.

Boasting a score from The Octopus Project, and Pattinson himself, the film screened at Sundance to decent reviews. “Damsel” is set for release on June 22nd.
