Trailer: Netflix’s “Troy: Fall of a City” Series

Scoring mostly positive reviews following its premiere in the UK, the trailer has arrived for BBC One and Netflix’s co-production “Troy: Fall of a City” which kicks off on the streamer on April 6th.

Based on Homer’s “The Iliad”, the film deals with Helen (Bella Dayne) and Paris (Louis Hunter) falling in love and triggering a chain of events that threatens their families and the city of Troy. Owen Harris and Mark Brozel helm the episodes from scripts by David Farr, Nancy Harris, Mika Watkins, and Joe Barton.

The cast also includes David Gyasi as Achilles, Tom Weston-Jones as Hector, Joseph Mawle as Odysseus, Johnny Harris as Agamemnon, Jonas Armstrong as Menelaus, Lemogang Tsipa as Patroklus, Aimee-Ffion Edwards as Cassandra, David Threlfall as King Priam, and the likes of Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Inge Beckmann, Shamilla Miller and Lex King as the Olympian Gods Zeus, Hera, Athena and Aphrodite respectively.
