Trailer: McG’s “The Babysitter” On Netflix

It has taken a little while for them to get going, but Netflix’s move into original features is now finally paying dividends.

This Summer’s “Okja” and “Death Note” started things well enough, but several recent launches like the well-regarded Redford/Fonda romance tale “Our Souls at Night” and the very well received King adaptation “Gerald’s Game” and Angelina Jolie’s “First They Killed My Father” kick off a bright looking Fall for the streaming giant.

Along with “1922,” “Bright,” “Wheelman” and “The Meyerowitz Stories,” comes the horror comedy “The Babysitter” which surprisingly has been directed by “Charlie’s Angels” and “Terminator Salvation” helmer McG.

Boasting a ridiculously attractive cast including Samara Weaving, Bella Thorne and Robbie Amell, and a firm tongue-in-cheek tone, the comedy follows a kid who realises his new babysitter and her friends are Satan worshippers and plan to sacrifice him.

Today, just over a week out from its release on Friday October 13th, comes the film’s trailer. Check it out below:
