Trailer: Hamm & Pike Go To “Beirut”

The first trailer has arrived for “Beirut,” the upcoming spy thriller from writer Tony Gilroy (“Michael Clayton,” the “Bourne” films) and director Brad Anderson (“The Machinist,” “Transsiberian”).

Jon Hamm, Rosamund Pike, Dean Norris, Larry Pine, and Shea Whigham star in the 1970s set story in which Hamm plays a top U.S. diplomat who left Lebanon in the 1970s after a tragic incident.

Ten years later, the CIA calls him back to a war-torn Beirut with a mission only he can accomplish. Pike plays a CIA field agent who is working undercover at the American embassy is tasked with keeping Skiles alive and ensuring that the mission is a success.

“Beirut” will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival ahead of an April 13th opening.
