“MGM and producer Frank Mancuso Jr. are currently developing a sequel to the 1999 religious thriller “Stigmata.” The original, directed by Rupert Wainwright (The Fog), told the story of Frankie Paige (Patricia Arquette), a young woman suffering from stigmata, and the conflicted priest (Byrne) sent to investigate this funky phenomena. Manning admits it’s still very early right now – “We haven’t worked out contractual details yet, so there are quite a few hoops to jump through before we’re rolling any film. “‘DPelican’ drops by with an update on the recent comments by comedian Paul Rudd about his upcoming comedy “Big Brothers. “Last week it was indicated that shooting on the film, co-starring Seann William Scott, had been halted mid-filming for a while due to re-writes. This source says the original quote was wrong: “Big Brother’s” hasn’t started shooting yet – it was scheduled to start principle in June, but recently delayed a month. The film is now set to start shooting in and around L.A. on July 2nd.””
