Toni Collette has lined up two more roles on top of the currently shooting “Hitchcock” and the upcoming “The Way, Way Back”.
The Aussie actress is in negotiations to join Jennifer Aniston in Paul Andrew Williams’ “Miss You Already” and Pascal Chaumeil’s adaptations of Nick Hornby’s “The Long Way Down” reports Variety.
In ‘Miss’, Collette and Aniston would play lifelong best friends who help each other with challenges – the outgoing one (Aniston) who is battling breast cancer, and the more reserved one (Collette) who is preparing for her first child’s birth.
‘Down’ follows four strangers on New Year’s Eve who coincidentally plan to jump to their deaths from the same rooftop. Collette would to play the helpless single mom of a disabled young man.
Pierce Brosnan is also in talks to play a scandal-plagued talkshow host. Shooting on ‘Down’ kicks off in London in the late Summer or early Fall.
