Having just played Britain’s two most notorious criminal kingpins in “Legend,” Tom Hardy is about to play America’s most infamous gangster Al Capone in the upcoming “Fonzo” for Addictive Pictures.
“Chronicle” and “Fantastic Four” director Josh Trank will pen and direct the film which is set in the later stages of Capone’s life at age 47 after nearly a decade of imprisonment.
As dementia rots his mind, his past becomes present as harrowing memories of his violent and brutal origins melt into his waking life.
Lawrence Bender, Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder will produce. Pre-production is currently underway.
