Todd Phillips Set For “Hangover” Sequel

“Road Trip” and “Old School” director Todd Phillips is set to write a sequel to his upcoming comedy “The Hangover” for Warner Bros. Pictures says Variety.

Scot Armstrong will co-write the follow-up to the first film which follows three groomsmen who wake-up after an intense bachelor party in Las Vegas. Having lost the groom Doug and forgotten everything that happened, they must retrace their hazy steps in order to figure out where things went wrong and hopefully get Doug back to L.A. in time to walk down the aisle.

Phillips will be back to direct and produce the sequel. The studio has already made deals with the film’s trio of stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms.

Production will likely kick off later this year.
