Just days after opting not to renew the legal dramedy “Franklin and Bash” and weeks after cancelling “Dallas,” TNT is axing another program – its Eric McCormack-led procedural “Perception”.
McCormack played an eccentric neuroscience professor with paranoid schizophrenia who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases. Rachael Leigh Cook, LeVar Burton and Kelly Rowan also starred in the series.
Currently in the midst of its third season, it has averaged 2.7 million total viewers an episode, down from an average of 4.2 million for the first season.
The last few episodes of the third season have been produced and are still expected to go to air in February.
