Actor T.J. Miller has reportedly confirmed that he will not be returning to play Weasel in the next “Deadpool” film. Miller had previously talked about an expanded role for Weasel last year, but it appears that won’t be happening.
Miller’s scenes in the second film were altered and reduced earlier this year after a woman came out and accused the actor of sexual assault back when they were in college, while earlier in the year the actor called in a fake bomb threat while riding on an Amtrak train and could get up to five years in prison if convicted.
They follow on from Miller being fired from HBO’s “Silicon Valley” for erratic behavior. Back in May, Ryan Reynolds revealed that Miller will not appear in the proposed “X-Force” movie. Miller did not provide a reasoning for his third “Deadpool” absence, saying only: “I’m not in it. Gooooobye!.”
The “X-Force” movie is the focus at present, though not much progress has been made as Fox awaits the closing of its deal with Disney.
