A while back Netflix acquired all the overseas rights to air the live-action DC Universe drama series “Titans,” but at the time there was no indication as to when it would be available.
The series has since aired eight of its twelve-episode first season run in the United States on the DC Universe streaming service with the ninth to air this week. That means, bar any interruptions, “Titans” will finish up at the end of this month.
Thus it comes as no huge surprise that Netflix UK has revealed the premiere date for the series on the service with a Friday January 11th date being revealed for the show which appears to be releasing its entire season on the service.
Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Minka Kelly and Alan Ritchson lead the show which was recently renewed for a second season.
The series will mark one of the few times the Netflix co-licensing has opted to wait until a series has fully finished airing in the U.S. before releasing it, as opposed to other deals of this type like “Riverdale,” “Black Lightning,” “Star Trek: Discovery” and “Designated Survivor” which released episodes weekly within hours of U.S. broadcast.
