Tinder Plans Interactive Streaming Series

Dating app Tinder, which allows people to randomly hook up with people based on looks and a brief write-up, is entering the streaming wars.

Variety reports that Tinder is developing a choose-your-own-adventure style digital series, set against a pending apocalypse, for its app.

The series will use the swipe left/swipe right mechanics to allow users to advance the plot of six episodes and allows users to figure out “who would you spend your last night alive with?” The series is expected to debut in October.

Karena Evans will helm the series with the two-hour length series clocking in at a budget of around $5 million and are reportedly interested in shopping it around to other streaming services in the future.
