“Timeless” Set For A March 11th Return

NBC has announced a March 11th premiere date for the second season of “Timeless,” its family-friendly time travel drama which was cancelled and then resurrected in the wake of fan outcry.

Eric Kripke (“Supernatural”) and Shawn Ryan (“The Shield”) created the series with our three heroes – the scientist Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), the soldier Wyatt (Matt Lanter), and history professor Lucy (Abigail Spencer) – now finding an unlikely ally in their quest to ruin the deadly organization Rittenhouse.

The first season averaged a 2.1 rating in adults 18-49 and 8.0 million viewers overall in Live+7 results – tying for #1 versus regular broadcast competition in its timeslot in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, and surprisingly proved a show wildly embraced by both high-income earners and/or college graduates.

In the new episodes, the team will visit 1692, 1917, 1941, 1981 and more and will interact with Marie Curie, Hedy Lamarr, William Randolph Hearst and various other influential people throughout history.
